This tier covers standard manual labor tasks that require basic hand tools, stamina, and attention to detail, but do not require heavy machinery or specialized technical certifications. 

-  Pulling weeds by hand or using a hoe to clean out existing flower and garden beds. 

-  Moving mulch from a pile via wheelbarrow and raking it neatly into beds (assumes the beds are already prepped). 

-  Bagging up sticks, leaves, pinecones, or loose grass clippings during a basic yard cleanup. 

This tier applies to skilled tasks requiring precise technique and structural plant knowledge. 

- Using commercial articulating trimmers and chainsaws to reshape overgrown bushes, formal boxwoods, or tall privacy hedges on ladders. 

- Clearing thick briars, saplings, and heavy brush from neglected fields or fence lines using commercial brush mowers. 

- Digging deep, crisp vertical dirt borders around flower beds to separate the mulch beautifully from the turf.

Best scheduled between March and April to prep the turf for summer.

- Clearing out dead winter thatch, twigs, and leftover leaves from the lawn and landscape beds. 

- First crisp mow of the season, complete with string trimming and sidewalk/driveway blowing.

- Cutting back structural ornamental grasses and dead perennial stalks. 

Best scheduled between October and December to protect the turf through winter.

- Full leaf collection and removal from all lawn areas, flower beds, walkways, and patios. 

- Final low-cut mow of the season to help prevent winter mold growth.

- Clearing out dead annual flowers and seasonal yard debris.
